SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Farhan Zaidi and Alex Anthopoulos worked together to help build the Los Angeles Dodgers, so it probably shouldn’t come as any surprise that they have at times liked the same players in their new spots. This week, yet another former Giant became a member of the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta announced a one-year, $1 million deal with outfielder Alex Dickerson, who was one of Zaidi’s best success stories early on in San Francisco before struggling last year. Dickerson was designated for assignment in November when the Giants signed Anthony DeSclafani to a new three-year deal.

In Atlanta, Dickerson joins Will Smith, Jay Jackson and Chadwick Tromp on the roster. The Braves also have Adam Duvall, who played for the Giants in 2014.
