After ending the regular season on a sour note, Arkansas Baseball has worked out the kinks, and is back to playing the high standard of baseball that won them many games in the early portion of the season.
One of the main reasons? Solid work on the mound, especially from Friday ace Connor Noland.
In two postseason starts, Noland has struck out 10 batters over 13.2 innings. In those outings, Arkansas’ defense has only allowed two runs. Noland posted another solid outing in Saturday’s 4-1 win over North Carolina. He struck out six batters in 6.2 innings of work.
Arkansas fans, both watching in Chapel Hill as well from the comfort of their homes, were proud of Noland, to say the least. Here are a few of the best tweets reacting to Noland’s superb start.
