To no one’s surprise, mixing Auburn athletics with the legend of “Pac-12 after dark” was as wild as expected.

A series of unfortunate events for both teams led to a peculiar baseball game, with Auburn grabbing the 7-4 win and taking a 1-0 advantage over Oregon State in the Corvallis Super Regional.

Sunday’s game two should be just as wild. Joseph Gonzalez will get the start for Auburn, but Oregon State has yet to announce their plans for a starting pitcher. It is assumed, however, that Hjerpe will take the mound for the Beavers if he feels well enough to pitch.
