Dettmer and Moss Named to D1Baseball Top 100 Prospects List - Texas A&M Athletics


BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies had a pair of players named to the D1Baseball Top 100 College Prospects list with Nathan Dettmer checking in at No. 25 and Jack Moss slotted at No. 97.
 
In 2022, Dettmer posted a 6-3 record with a 4.99 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 92 innings of work. He earned SEC Pitcher of the Week recognition on two occasions. His shining moment came in the Aggies’ College World Series win against Notre Dame when he weaved 7.0 blank frames, scattering three hits while fanning six.
 
In two seasons in Aggieland, Dettmer boasts a 9-5 mark with a 4.75 ERA, 131 strikeouts in 147.2 innings pitched over 36 games, including 31 starts.
 
Moss started all 64 games for the Aggies in 2022 and earned American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region recognition. He batted .380 (103-for-271) on the year with six home runs, a triple, 18 doubles, 50 runs, 49 RBI, eight stolen bases and 28 walks. He earned MVP of the College Station Regional, batting .643 (9-for-14) with five runs, five RBI and a double. He also hit .500 (6-for-12) at the SEC Tournament.
 
Including his first year at Arizona State, Moss has 112 collegiate games under his belt, hitting .351 (149-for-425) with 27 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, 78 RBI and nine stolen bases.
